The Cuetec Meteor Break 58” 2-Piece Canadian Maple Billiard / Pool Breaking Cue, 19 ounces, is strikingly beautiful and with the beauty that it exudes it is also strengthened by rings around it at strategic areas around it.
The stainless steel rings one large one at the butt end keeps the Cue at optimum strength, and there are two at the point the two pieces join together to form one.
The strengthened shaft made of maple wood and with composite coating for a perfect break, it has a toughness to provide the well-controlled strikes to guide the ball into the pockets.
Helping to enhance break power is the Bakelite ferrule which cups the Cue tip in a tightened embrace to keep it where it should be and ensure that it stays in place.
The Cue tip is made of meteor cowhide to ensure that the hit on the ball is even and controlled to good pocketing of balls when played with the right lateral force.
The weight is well balanced at 19 ounces and just about the right weight for some though others may either like a bit heavier or even lighter on the hand when playing because each one has their preferences.
At 58” it is of average length so nothing unusual there and it is well strengthened from Cue tip to the rear but end and should be a good cue to play with and after you get it tuned in the hand results would show.
Shane van Boening the US and world champion many times over has endorsed the Cuetec products and has used them to clinch some of the toughest Championships around the world and continues to trust Cuetec.
Nine World Championships won while playing with Cuetec Cues, and all these won by beating some of the best brands in the world.
It was the US and World Champion Boening who put Ceutec, on the world map when he went on to win some major tournaments and since then they have not looked back and has always taken center stage.
Cuetec is a force to reckon with in the Cue manufacturing industry and would stay on top for a very long time hence if you are looking for a cue let it be a Cuetec.
Once we get the Cue, we would have always wanted to have we would need to get a feel of it in our hands, and that could take a few days before we could go out there and challenge all and sundry.
The going could get tough if we have not acclimatized ourselves to the new Cue we would hold in our hands, go out there and check our new Cue on the baize table and see how it performs and once we know what it can do for us, we could take up any challenge.
Every Cue has a price, but it is only how it would behave in our hands that would matter
